Brief History About Adriana Catano
Known as both a television star and host, American born Adriana Catano is known to be extremely proud of her Columbian heritage and has performed primarily in shows produced in Mexico and Latin America. Her most recent screen appearance was in the role of Jacqueline Tovar in the soap opera Belinda, which was televised in Latin America, the United States and Mexico.
Catano also served on the cast of the international soap opera, Secreto de Amor which was the highest rated soap opera on the Univision network in the U.S. But, her involvement on screen is not limited to soap operas.
With appearances in Bad Boys and HolyMan, Catano’s big screen notoriety in the United States is rapidly growing thanks to exposure alongside stars such as Will Smith and Eddie Murphy. Her U.S. television resume includes the role of Julia Vargas in Moon Over Miami. Her television hosting experience ranges from Latino news programming to a Fox Sports show about American baseball. She has also served as the host of the Latino Music Awards as well as the Regional Emmy Awards.
Her notoriety has led to appearances in many well known magazines, including FHM, Selecta, Ocean Drive, People, Open Your Eyes, TV y Novelas, TV Notas, MIRA, La Opinion, Men’s Fitness, El Norte, El Reforma, and The Miami Herald. Additionally, her annual sensual calendar is a favorite among her fans throughout the world.
Adriana has also received many advertising endorsements and has participated in international ad campaigns for over 600 companies including Bud Light, Coca-Cola, Colgate, Coors Light, Flex Shampoo, Revlon, Shiseido Cosmetics, and Head & Shoulders Shampoo, among many others. One of her most renowned spokesperson roles has been as the Hispanic spokesperson for Rooms To Go, the largest chain of furniture stores in the US and Puerto Rico.
